Harry Potter and Gilmore Girls.
That’s it. That’s all. All things Hogwarts and all things Rory. I just finished book 5 and am not ready to move onto book 6 just yet, and I’m in the middle of Season 3. So much goodness all around.
All that goodness is coming in the middle of some research and writing I’ve been doing for a project for November. I was thinking through how I wanted to teach my kids about Thanksgiving this year, about structural inequalities and the myth of the First Thanksgiving, so tomorrow I’ll be starting a series about that.

Harry Potter and Gilmore Girls- it doesn’t get much better than that. Oh to be reading those books and watching that show for the first time all over again!
Ha! It is hard to do much else when Harry Potter and the Gilmore Girls are around. I’m actually impressed you can do those simultaneously. Both consumed me beyond imagination. Also, Season 3 is my favorite. I just re-watched it myself this month! 🙂
I’m watching Gilmore Girls for the first time and am on Season 2 – it’s nice to watch something fun and smart that doesn’t have anything to do with killing zombies. Even though I do love me some Walking Dead.
