I will be at the Festival of Faith and Writing this weekend.  I’m so excited.  It will be my first festival.   I went to one public event 2 years ago, which is when I heard of the festival for the first time.  I told myself I wanted to be at a place in my writing where I could justify taking the time and money to attend when it came around to 2012, and I am!  So I am super pumped to hear from Jonathan Safren Foer, Ann Voskamp, Marilyn Chandler McEntyre, Judith Shulevitz, Marilynne Robinson, the women of Her.menutics, and many more.  I can’t wait to just sit and absorb and learn so much more about the craft of writing.  (wandering around the exhibition hall won’t be a chore, either!)  It will so great to be in a place for 3 days where letters, words, and pages are so highly valued and talked about.
