Music Monday – Worship Songs I Love

Instead of a normal Music Monday, I thought I’d just share a few of my favorite songs.

Some music stirs my soul, makes it feel as if the infinite has come down to actually take up residence in my body.  I love that feeling, I love listening to music.

There’s a few fun things lined up for this week.  Tomorrow I have an actual post about our quick but expensive trip to Louisville last week, considering the question is it worth it?  Then on Thursday, I’m guest posting for the first time ever, over at Danielle’s blog, on what it means for me to be a Christian wife.  I’m so excited about this one!  I love her blog.  Then, on Friday I have a follow-up post to that, about what to do when people give you bad advice.  And then, finally, on Saturday, I have a review of Joe Bunting’s new E-book, Let’s Write A Short Story, which comes out this Wednesday.  This is a very inspiring book if you are interested in writing fiction.

So, in light of all those words without music, here are some of my favorite words, with music.  This is my morning playlist, on the mornings that I actually get up and have a good morning.

Circle Up – Chris Rice

One of my absolute favorites:

Red Mountain Music – With Melting Heart and Weeping Eyes

Indelible Grace – Wake Thy Slumbering Children:

Abide With Me

Hear Our Prayer (Litany Song)I love this one

And this is obviously new, but I love it too.

I already love many of these…anything Rich shared with us and for me Mumford is the best at freeing what is in my heart and helping me bring it to the Father. Mumford’s new song is so what I want/need to hear all the time. Cannot wait for the new album.
